Jos gives us priceless inside knowledge and a huge competitive edge because he has worked in various IDBs throughout his career in finance, eventually starting his own IDB business called Red Ops. Here, he built a brand new market in the commodity options space before selling Red Ops to a competitor in 2012. Jos has been trading and investing in technology startups ever since.
Nehat is an international business development leader. With a robust track record of success and a current, global network of board level executives he supports and drives business development for a wide range of professional practices in the UK. Since 2015 Nehat has established several IT and contact center businesses that have grown to become recognized brands in their respective industries.
Oliver is a seasoned executive focused on high growth technology companies, with 40 plus years of experience leading both public and private companies at all stages. As COO he led Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ:MANH) through their IPO. As President at Neovest he led the company from its founding through to its sale to JP Morgan (NYSE:JPM). He is interested in disruptive technologies which can change the way the world works. As a former American footballer and coach, he understands the value of a strong team.
James is a highly experienced business and technology innovator specializing in Artificial Intelligence, with over 20 years experience of working with global 500 organizations, governments, and investors. He has co-founded and exited a number of successful ‘disruptive’ tech businesses over this time. James is Chairman and co-founder of Rainbird Technologies.
Peter is an entrepreneur who has developed and nurtured many major brands – including some of the leading providers of hosting and infrastructure services in the UK. Since 2013 he has been developing cloud platforms and next generation technologies that power services for large government and multinational organizations.
Ben's vision is to make cognitive reasoning technology and transparent automated decision-making more accessible to subject matter experts within a business. Ben joined a startup transforming the motor insurance industry using AI. As Director of Technology, Ben led the technical development of an award-winning AI system which became a market leader in the motor claims arena.
Ben is CEO and co-founder of Rainbird Technologies.
In-house Devil’s advocate, Ben cut his teeth in the financial, commercial and legal complexities of project finance. With a Computer Science background, and an MSc in Finance from London Business School, he’s dovetailed cryptocurrency technology with his innovative strategic commercial skill set. He’s product manager for a recently launched sustainability benchmarking platform and a modeling wizard. Consulting across a broad range of industries allows Ben to draw on a vast pool of capability.
James is an entrepreneur, sales person and business strategist who has been working in AI, marketing and advertising since 2012. He is head of UK sales at Armstrong One, an AI-based predictive analytics and marketing automation platform for marketers, which combines the power of IBM, Agillic and Houston Analytics.
James Loft is a graduate of knowledge management from Loughborough University and he has worked extensively in innovation and new technologies within transport and financial services. Culminating in the running of an Artificial Intelligence consultancy firm, that helps companies make AI tools fit their businesses rather than the other way around. With an experienced background in innovation and service design he understands the gentle but vital balance between the design and the technology. James is CCO of Rainbird Technologies.
Erris is a designer with extensive experience in multimedia, marketing, and print. He has worked on a number of high-profile projects globally, for a range of businesses. Erris has a track record of creating innovative, engaging and successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
Having worked for three successful tech startups, Ana has a strong track record of working in fast-paced working environments and establishing long-lasting relationships, with the ability to quickly identify and develop key opportunities. Ana has extensive experience in developing large accounts, acquiring new business as well as managing a sales team.
Nesim Pllana is a web development professional specializing in UX and security. He has over 9 years of corporate experience – having worked for several large brands, helping them to follow best-practice to establish a modern, accessible and secure online presence.
With 25 years’ global media experience, Oliver is a regular on stage at the world’s industry conferences including Cannes Lions, SXSW and dmexco, with experience at Sky, BBC and The Economist and nearly 10 years at Microsoft as global head of innovation.
Tom Graham (Harvard Law School’11) is a founder at Codec.ai, an AI and machine learning marketing company. Prior to codec, Tom founded MapD with a friend at MIT, and built the first GPU in-memory SQL database for big data exploration at scale. Tom was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School focusing on the intersection between social networks, big data, and law reform. Prior to startups, Tom practiced as a US capital markets attorney in Hong Kong. Originally from Melbourne, Australia.
Tom is a technologist and a communications expert. A graduate in Computer Science from Cambridge University, Tom first worked in financial technology for investment banks, before turning to the communications profession and co-founding Bright Bee Communications in 2011. Tom specialises in advising high-growth fintech and blockchain startups on their public relations strategy.
